So, Why BLACK primeval?
i have three elite sets for my dervish and by far i prefer primeval armour....however i do not have it dyed black...
why do i see everyone running around in black primeval? mine is dyed white, and before it was dyed red+black to give it a nice deep crimson/blood red colour.
black is ugly. it reduces the detail in the texture and design.
So that is my question - Why Black Primeval D:

cause generally, people think white and black are the only colors you may use to look good, while clearly they look terrible on soem sets, eg this one.
basically, high cost dyes = good.
but ye uh..you just noticed the love of black now? D:

Because people who wear Primeval are generally twelve. Being twelve means they read certain internet surveys, which tell them things regarding black and size.

well, if you are a male character and get full primeval dyed black, you would look like the grim reaper :P. For more fun, get a vampiric scythe.

Have any of you maybe considered that they actually _LIKE_ it in black? You may live up on your happy little cloud, thinking they do it to look cool. They probably couldn't care less.
Personally, I agree it looks good, but I prefer to use colour and thus, mine is a deep blue.

For no reason in the world I would buy primeval its ugly for most professions but anyways, I'd say to look rich and "good" aka e-peen enlarging.

People generally like black. It may be everywhere, but there's an reason for that: people like it.
Now, some may say it's for showing off, but I personally think the best way to "show off" how rich you are is to have dye mixes. Now there's an expense.
Everyone has their own opinions and tastes, as stated in this thread.

Black is the only color that covers the original color of the armor. If you try to dye 2 different armor sets yellow, you will have a hard time matching the color.
apart from that everyone tries to show off...

People get black beacuse its the most expensive and thats good, about 1/10 monks i see in fow have it somthing other than black or white same with warriors in primevil or fow.
Id love to see what it was like if all dyes were the same price from day one, i rekon red would win .

I dyed my primeval white...didn't feel like looking the same as every other dervish...
I probably will change it to a deep red color or possibly a dark teal color because the white doesn't really show that well.
I'm wearing my new armor mix more now anyway.
Monument Hood and Leggings, Dwarven Light Breastplate, Istani Gloves and Shoes if anyone is interested...
